Shinichiro Watanabe is one of the world's leading anime figures, and for good reason. He is the creator and director of Cowboy Bebop (1998), a space western that became a cult series. Netflix adapted it into a live-action series in 2021.

In 2025, Watanabe returns with Lazarus, a science fiction series created by MAPPA for Adult Swim and available on HBO Max. We will screen the first episode.
