Sergio Hernández (Valencia, 1994) is a writer, screenwriter and a Hispanic philologist from Universitat de Valencia and a screenwriter who graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome and Barreira A+D.
In 2015 he published 365 primeras citas (365 first dates - Alupa Editorial), the year in which he began to make the scripts of several radio programs. Months later, he adapted his work to the short film format for the National Spanish Television. In 2019 he published La última canción de primavera (Last Spring Song - OléLibros), receiving a fantastic reception from critics and filmmakers such as Isabel Coixet.
After years dedicated to the world of communication and advertising, he founded Collverd, the first creative generator of fictional content in Spain, developing series and feature films for production companies and platforms in Spain and Latin America.
He combines this activity with directing and producing commercials and films. In 2021, together with Toni Caballero, she received the Diafebús Youth Novel Prize for his work El Diari de Laia (Laia’s Diary). Both are also responsible for Backhome (Planeta Cómic), a thriller born in the pages of Planeta Manga, which has already been translated into Italian and French.
In 2023, Sergio will start publishing the series Hysteria (Planeta Cómic) together with Lolita Aldea.
