Animator/Creative Team Director (Science SARU)

Originally from Spain, Góngora joined Science SARU as a Flash animator after working in studios in Ireland and France. He took part in many of director Masaaki Yuasa’s projects starting with the “Food Chain” episode of “Adventure Time” that the studio was founded to create. He worked as the chief Flash animator on “Lu Over The Wall” and “Devilman Crybaby”, while supervising the opening animation for “Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!”. He served as director on the Generations from EXILE Tribe “Brand New Story” MV, the theme song of “Ride Your Wave”, and on the “T0-B1” short film from "Star Wars: Visions". “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off”, streaming worldwide starting on November 17th, 2023 on Netflix, marks his first time directing a full series.
