MIZUHO KUSANAGI

Mizuho Kusanagi made her debut as a mangaka in the year 2003, in the flagship magazine of the publisher Hakusensha Inc., Hana to yume, with her work Yoiko no kokoroe. She went on to create the mangas Game x Rush and NG Life. In 2009 she published the first volume of the work that catapulted her into stardom, Yona of the dawn (Yona, princesa del amanecer in Spanish), a story about a princess who, after a coup, decides to defend herself and the citizens of her kingdom.

Yona of the dawn has become a global phenomenon; more than 70 million copies have been printed in 14 countries, and it has also been released in other media: the renowned Studio Pierrot imbued life to the princess of Kôka and the Dragons in a TV show with 24 episodes .In Japan, you can also find CD-Drama with adaptations of the series, and even a stage play!
