Admission and security rules

In order to guarantee security and capacity, these admission rules are compulsory for all visitors to Manga Barcelona:

The ticket to Manga Barcelona will only allow to enter the precinct one time. Once a visitor leaves Manga Barcelona they will not be able to re-enter. Only certified personnel (exhibitors, press, participants in the contests and the activities at the event...) will be allowed to re-enter.

It is forbidden inside the precinct:

• Accessing with animals (except guide dogs), bicycles, skateboards, scooters, rollers and similar.
• Accessing the precinct with flags and/or banners of an ideological or political nature, as well as any other element with symbols of a racist or xenophobic nature or that incite violence or impair human dignity.
• With animals (except assistance dogs), bicycles, skateboards, scooters, rollers and similar.
• With water bottles, liquids in plastic containers, glass and/or cans.
• In accordance with Royal Decree 137/1993 on Arms Regulations, it is prohibited to carry firearms, metal or wooden weapons, and other blunt objects or imitations that, due to their similarity to the real objects may seem real to other people. The use of dangerous elements that may threaten the physical integrity of people such as pyrotechnic and flammable material is also prohibited. Only imitation weapons made of plastic, cardboard and other non-hazardous materials are allowed. Any imitation weapons that due to their characteristics can be considered as dangerous by FICOMIC will be secured by the organization and may be collected by their owners when leaving.
• Smoking inside the palaces/pavilions.

It is mandatory to respect the areas enabled as evacuation routes, emergency exits and fire protection, and to follow the instructions of the staff of Manga Barcelona and Fira Barcelona aimed at ensuring the safety of the venue and the event.

ACCESS ALLOWED:

• Imitations of weapons made from non-hazardous materials such as plastic, cardboard or similar materials. Imitations deemed dangerous at the discretion of FICOMIC and/or security personnel will be removed.
• Reusable containers: canteens, lunch boxes or similar containers, provided that they are suitable for the personal use of each participant during the event. Only reasonably sized containers for personal use will be permitted. Any container that does not meet these requirements may be removed for safety reasons.

LOCKER PROCEDURE:

Security will store confiscated items in a secure locker area and will issue a ticket which must be presented when leaving the event to retrieve the items.

Visitors must respect the areas designated for evacuation, emergency exits and fire protection, as well as the instructions given by the staff of Manga Barcelona and Fira Barcelona in order to ensure the safety of the venue and the event.
