Origami is a real art in Japan, but what’s more is widely practised among the people. In this workshop, run by the Eikyo team, you can learn to make some of the basic origami shapes.

Koinobori workshop

Koinobori are carp made out of material or paper that are hung in Japanese homes on Children’s Day. They hang as many carp as there are members of the family living in the house. These fish symbolise the spirit of tenacity and achievement. At this workshop you can make your own koinobori to hang in your home.
